Balancing Histamine For Coping With Depression Naturally

Balancing your brain’s histamine could be your answer to coping with depression naturally, if your level of brain histamine (a neurotransmitter) is indeed in serious imbalance.

  • histidine (500mg)

  • zinc (25mg, in the form of zinc picolinate) to help remove excessive copper in the body. Zinc deficiency also hinders the build-up of histamine store in the body.
  • tryptophan (500mg; to be taken with fruit juice) for replenishing serotonin, a calming neurotransmitter that can correct sleep problems.
  • Manganese (10mg; in the form of manganese gluconate) to help remove excessive copper in the body.
  • Vitamin C (675mg, in the form of Ester C) to help remove excessive copper in the body.
  • Niacin (vitamin B3; 500mg), vitamin B12 (500mcg) and folic acid (800mcg) to increase production of histamine.
  • Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA; 360mg) and GLA (300mg) for the B vitamins to function effectively.
  • Quercetin (300mg) to build up the body’s store of histamine.

A word of caution – if you are already taking any of the nutrients mentioned, be sure to keep your daily consumption levels within the dosage indicated [1].
